New York Meets Appenzellerland

Kevin Seitz and Rob van Wyen together form Studio Seitz

With their work from New York, the two designers reinterpret Swiss craftsmanship traditions and translate them into contemporary design objects. They recently launched the masterfully crafted Wall Mirror. This is made of European ash by the joinery of the Mätzler family in Berneck. The way the mirror is made refers to the construction of traditional Appenzell milking kettles. Available from the Seitz website.
